Week of January 29 - February 4: Support for Tablet, IE11, QBD17 + End Recurrence

The following improvements to the new version of WORK were released to all customers during the week of January 29 - February 4, 2017. Remember to come back during the week to check more of what's improved.

End Recurring Jobs with 1 click. We have created a new and dedicated “Delete Recurrence” button that will allow you to delete child jobs quickly and easily. By using "Delete Recurrence", you can avoid going into the calendar and manually assigning and End Date to stop a recurring pattern.

 Enhancements for Admins using iPads. Although our Admin Portal is primarily designed for computer-based browsers, we've now enhanced the experience for those wishing to use tablets. Now admins who require casual, on-the-go management of Jobs, Clients and Quotes can do so from large-screened mobile devices. Read more about Admin tablet support here.

 Support for Admins using Internet Explorer. Admins can now use Internet Explorer Version 11 when accessing and using WORK. 

 We're bringing Client Notes back. Based on your feedback, we are bringing the Client Notes back to your Job records. You can Add, View and Edit Client Notes without exiting a Job record.

New Invoice Templates. For all new Fleetmatics WORK accounts that are created after this release date (January 30), there will be 4 additional standard Invoice templates from the Settings>Documents and Templates page.These include:

  • Standard Invoice 1 - standard invoice with payment stub
  • Standard Invoice 2 - standard invoice with no payment stub
  • QuickBooks Standard Invoice - invoice mirrored in the style of QuickBooks
  • QuickBooks Custom Invoice - invoice mirrored in the style of QuickBooks




  • Fixed an issue where Today's date is found on the calendar even when changing the month and year
