QuickBooks Desktop Sync: System Requirements

WORK’s QuickBooks Desktop Sync feature supports a variety of setups, Windows operating systems and U.S. QuickBooks Desktop versions.

Please see below for the system requirements when using WORK’s QuickBooks Desktop Sync feature. Systems not specified below cannot be guaranteed full support, and therefore, we may not be able to fully-resolve specific issues you encounter.

 

Supported setup:

 

QuickBooks Desktop

QuickBooks Company File

WORK’s QBD Sync app

Option 1:

On a local Windows computer

On a local Windows computer

On a local Windows computer

Option 2:

On a local Windows computer

On a remote Windows-based server

On a remote Windows-based server

 

Supported QuickBooks Desktop versions:

QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2014 to 2017

QuickBooks Premier 2014 to 2017

QuickBooks Enterprise 2014 to 2017

 

Supported Windows operating systems:

Windows 8

Windows 10

 

Supported Windows-based servers:

Windows Sever 2012

Windows Server 2016

 

NOTE: Any instance of QuickBooks Desktop accounts that are hosted by a 3rd party hosting solution (ex. RightNetworks) are not supported.
