Can I access the admin portal from a tablet?

Yes. Although our admin portal (https://work.fleetmatics.com) is designed for computer-based browsers, it can also be accessed from a tablet (mobile browser) for lightweight use of Jobs, Clients and Quotes for Admins on-the-go. Generally speaking, we classify "lightweight" as occasional access, and Admins who work the majority of their day in the field might consider using a small laptop, instead. 

 

Which tablet devices do you recommend for Admins?

Our team regularly tests the Admin experience on an Apple iPad and Samsung S2 using the Chrome mobile browser. Other tablet devices are supported, though they may exhibit slightly different experiences. 

  

Can I use the entire WORK Admin experience on a tablet?

Given the complexity of some features likes the Scheduler, Reports or Accounts, we do not recommend using them on a tablet device. Currently, the Jobs, Clients and Quotes sections of the product will offer admin users the best experience. 

 

Does the WORK team have plans for a mobile app specifically for Admin?

We know mobile productivity is important to you, and our team continues to evaluate and plan for enhancing the admin mobile experience for customers on mobile devices. We'll keep customers updated on any developments.
