Important note
The Work Classic mobile app only supports Android versions 5 through 10. To successfully continue using your Verizon Connect Work account, we recommend that you migrate your fieldworkers to the Work Mobile app.
If migrating to the Work Mobile app is not an option, consider doing one of the following:
- Use Android devices running Android 10 or older.
- Use Apple iOS devices instead of Android devices.
The Work Classic App is field service management in the palm of your hand -- a key component of the complete Work solution. This app provides your employees with the tools to increase service, satisfaction, and overall productivity when they are in the field.
We encourage you to do your own research on which devices suit your needs best, and consider all the mobile tasks that your fieldworkers are required to perform outside of Work.
System requirements
Tablets vs. phones: Work Classic is best for use on mobile phones. We also understand some customers are successfully using the app on their tablet devices without any trouble. While this may be a reliable solution for your specific tablet device, it may not be reliable for all tablet models (there are tens of thousands of different Android devices available on the market). Therefore, we encourage you to proceed with caution when using the Work mobile app on tablets to guarantee an optimal experience. Generally speaking, we recommend avoiding ultra low-cost and low-end tablets.
The Work Classic app is available for download in the Apple App Store and Google Play. The Work Classic app is currently available for:
- Phone-iOS: iOS 9 and up
- Phone-Android: Android 5 - 10
