Work comes preloaded with several powerful reports to help manage your business and spot important trends on what is happening in the field. If Admins aren’t finding the report they need, they can build a Custom Report.
To build a Custom Report, select Reports then select Create New.
Admins can name their Custom Report in the Report Name Field.
Admins will need to select which category they would like to pull information from. The category will determine what fields are available to add to the report.
Admin can select the Fields that they would like included in the report. These Fields will become the column headings of the report.
Admins can group together their data by a Field as well as compute math to show sums or averages of data.
If you do select to show a sum or average of the data, it's required that you group the data based on a Field.
For Example, if you are looking to see the total number of Jobs by a Fieldworker, you will want to group it by the Fieldworker and then show the total number of Job #.
Note: If you select to show a sum or average of a Field and would like that Field as a header, it is recommended that you add the Field twice, once for the heading and another with the sum or average.
After you have all the Fields set up, it’s time to choose Filters. Filters can be a date range, filter out certain data based on a Field or focus on certain data by filtering on a certain Field.
Note: Selecting a date range filter is a very important step to narrow down the data and help the report generate as quickly as possible.
When selecting a date range, it's recommended that you have one filter for a start date and the second filter for an end date range.
Finally, Admins will be able to sort the report based on the Field they have chosen. For example, you can choose to see your Jobs ranging from oldest to newest.
Once the Report is created, Admin should select Save.
To run the report, Admins will need to select Generate Report.
Admins can export their Custom Report by selecting a format from the drop-down menu and then select the disk icon.
Once saved, your Custom Report will appear under My Custom Report so it can be run with another date range later.
