When referring to Recurring Jobs, the terms "parent" and "child" are used to distinguish the original, Admin-created Job VS. ones which were automatically generated as a result of the recurrence pattern.
A parent Job is a Job that was created by the Admin user originally, and where the recurrence pattern was set. The information in this Job copies to the other Jobs ("children") in the pattern. The parent Job is where an Admin user can find the "Edit Recurrence" option to adjust all occurrences in the pattern.
A child Job is a Job that is automatically generated as a result of the recurrence pattern. These Jobs contain some information from the parent Job. Although child Jobs follow the pattern, they can be edited individually to change the time, date, Fieldworker and more.
