MYOB Sync allows Work to update 3 types of data in MYOB's online solution:
- Clients 2-ways
- Clients 2-ways and Invoices 1-way from Work to MYOB
- Clients 2-ways, Invoices and Payments 1-way from Work to MYOB
When syncing data between MYOB and Work, the following data “mapping” tables have been provided to show:
- Which information gets synced, or is supported, by MYOB Sync
- Which fields match (or “map”) to the opposing system
This mapping information will help ensure you know whether the certain information will sync, or not – and if so, where that information will go.

[1] The Billing Address on the Client in MYOB is used as the address on all Invoices synced from Work to MYOB
[2] The Account No. used for each Item is the Account No. specified on the MYOB Integration settings in Work.
[3] If an Item has a tax rate applied to Work, it will be marked as taxable in MYOB. The tax rate used on the Invoice in Quickbooks will be taken from the Quickbooks Client Settings/Tax Settings not directly from Work.
