Admins can generate an invoice from Accounts, or from the Job Record.
Accounts
From Accounts, search for Uninvoiced Jobs by their Job Code or Client Name then select magnifying glass icon.
Note: Admins can also apply filters to help with the search.
Once you find the job(s), select check box next to Job Code then select Create Invoice.
Note: Admins can generate multiple invoices at a time if the invoice date and due date are the same on all jobs.
Select an Invoice Due Date then select Create Invoice.
Work will confirm Invoice was created successfully, select Close.
Select the Unpaid Invoices tab to download or send the invoice via email to the client.
From the Job Record, select Invoicing & Payments then select Create Invoice.
Note: An Admin can open the Job Record by selecting the Job Code from various location such as Jobs, Scheduler or Accounts.
Select Invoice Due Date then select Create Invoice.
Note: Invoice number is auto-generated by Work, typically it’s the Job Code followed by A. To change an invoice number, an Admin must change the Job Code.
Once the Invoice is created, a message confirming the invoice date and invoice due date will appear on the Job Record.
Note: Select Download to download PDF invoice for printing or select Preview & Email to send the invoice via email.
