Starting December 10, 2025, an important update is required to ensure the continued security and performance of the Verizon Connect Work mobile apps.
What is changing?
We have released new versions of both the Work Mobile (iOS/Android) app and the Work Classic (iOS) app. This mandatory update includes a critical security enhancement.
What action is required?
All users—whether they use Work Mobile or Work Classic—must update their app to the latest version by Monday, January 12, 2026.
Users can download the update by visiting the Apple App Store or Google Play Store from their mobile device.
What happens if users do not update?
After January 12, 2026, users on older versions of either app will no longer be able to access attached documents or photos. This functionality will be restored as soon as they update their app.
We recommend communicating this requirement to your fieldworkers to ensure they update the correct app in time.
